A Note About The U.S. Flag Code

We realize that our double-sided U.S. Flag may be offensive to some and while we acknowledge the flag is sacred to many, it’s important to note that the U.S. Flag Code is not a legal mandate for civilians and that civilians are guilty of breaking this code in a multitude of ways every day. Below are some examples of not abiding by the U.S. Flag:

Code:

1.  Flying it on the back of a car

2.  Allowing the flag to get wet or dirty

3.  Allowing the flag to stay out all night without a spotlight

4.  Wearing the flag on clothing, bedding, drapery, or using it for advertisements

5.  Adding any thin line to the U.S. flag
